Our "master" chef

Here is our master chef trying his latest new recipe. I thought it looked so good that I needed to take a picture. It was pizza crust with baked tomatoes and cheese on top... no meat, veggies or actual pizza sauce.

Here is the "tart" (on the right) which we had instead of breadsticks and then the "pizza" (on the left) that we had with it.
It was delicious!

Very impressive! I'm experimenting with making homemade pizza dough in my new breadmaker this weekend. Maybe we'll be stepping up from the $2 Jack's frozen pizzas! ;o)

Thanks to you, I have pulled out my bread maker (that usually sits in the cabinet to collect dust) and am going to try a few new recipes. The one I did the other day was cheddar cheese/beer bread and it turned out pretty good. The next one I plan to do has onion soup mix in it. I forget how easy it is to make bread in it; and how good it tastes. As far as a pizza crust, we usually just buy the frozen whole wheat bread dough(at Fareway) and then shape into a pizza. Sometimes I make rolls out of it too. Just some ideas.. On a side note, I've read one of the books you gave to me and I have one to go! I'm learning some good parenting tips, for now I'm practicing to discpline Wendell with short and to the point statements like "shut the door" (and not getting long winded with why I want him to do something, he's too young to understand all the extra giberish). I'm planning to call you sometime to get some tips on the blog.. like is there a spell check? Well, I better go... hope all is well. Heather
