life of three little ones

We are settling pretty well... some nights I don't get enough sleep but most other things are going pretty well, and lack of sleep is to be expected.

Ali is a pretty good sleeper though, most nights.  Some of my lack of sleep is from everyone else that gets up in the morning.

I didn't realize how funny kids are with babies.  Wendell is a good age to use his imagination but not have limitations.  Such as Ali needing buddies to sleep with or needing to wear shoes, whether they are girl shoes or boy shoes and if they fit.

For Mother's Day we took some pictures to send to the
grandparents.  Of course, I kept one for myself.

On a side note, last week we FINALLY got our tree cut down in the back yard.  We have been waiting months for this and they finally got it cut down.  We are still waiting for them to finish up the job.. then we can get our garden in.

Watching this tree come down was one of the coolest things I've seen.  Wendell requested pictures so although I felt really goofy, I did take some, and some video too.

Although it cost a lot of $$, we're glad we did it.  It opens up our back yard and will allow us to having a lot more 'playing' room, once the pine needles are picked up and sap is dried out.  Oh, and they finish the job.

** looking at this last picture makes me kind of wonder if I should have kept the tree as it is in this last picture.  I love rock climbing (even though I am not good at it and rarely do it) - maybe I could have turned the tree into a 'tree' climbing workout.  I could have carved out little dents for my feet and hands to climb up.  Ohh.. my imagination is going wild!  Could this be sleep deprivation?? Anywho.. that sure would be fun, but I don't think the hubby would have approved.  : )

Enough ramblings for today....

Glad everything seems to be going well (minus the sleep)! Super cute picture of the three of them on the blanket. Hilarious picture with the shoes.

Yay for the tree finally coming down! If you would have tried to notch out the trunk for a climbing tree you probably wouldn't get very far b/c you'd be stuck to the tree with sap! I feel your pain on pokey contractors. After 1.5 weeks of hearing nothing, I finally called our painter on Tuesday only to find out he was leaving in a few hours to go to California for 7 days to help his son paint his house. Thanks for letting me know! :op But as soon as he gets back he's going to hop on our roof and finish the job. Yeah right. We'll see about that. Sigh...

It seems like you have a great attitude on life with three. It is very encouraging! :)

And I too love the picture of Ali with shoes on. So funny!
